X (Twitter) Restores Title On Links Instead Of Only Featured Image To Posts

X restores title on links in a post

After removing the title of a link when posted on X (formerly Twitter), the latest update has been restored to show the title of the link along with the featured image.

X Restores Title On Links To Posts

In October, X removed the feature of title on links to posts, leaving users confused about what the link is all about. Unless the user who posted the link mentions the title on the X post itself, readers have to click on the featured image to know what the link is all about.

This was again a burden to the users without the premium feature due to the limited character count. Elon Musk said that a feature update will restore the title on the links to posts.

The update has been rolled out on Desktop devices, but it is yet to be rolled out for iOS and Android devices, reports The Verge.

However, at the time of writing this post, Times Enigma tried posting a link on the Desktop, and it didn’t display the title of the post. The text seen below is pre-written text on the image itself, not the title of the article.
